Dear ebayers,

This is a Pontiac Fiero GT-R. It is professionally redone and customized. The paint is viper red and show quality (there isnt orange peal on this car). The car is a manual transmition with a five speed. It engages into gear very easily. There is no problem with the clutch or transmition.

The engine is completely detailed and is the best 2.5 iron duke I have ever seen! It has a custom valve cover (very shinny and looks cool). There is a red neon near the engine that illuminates the engine compartment.

The interior has 2 brand new racing seats and a 7inch LCD touch screen cd, radio tuner, DVD player, iPod hook up, and many more cool features. The system has alpine speakers which sound really great and clear.

The car only has just over 61000 miles on it. The tires barely have 500 miles on them. The car has 0 miles since customized. The car has never seen snow and the underbody is in mint condition.

The Fiero has custom painted rims which look really nice but at the time of the pictures I did not have the center caps but I do have the centers now.

It has the "GTR" body kit. Which is the two 10in side scoops (the one on the drivers side goes to the cold air intake and lets a lot more air in the original side scoop which the book says it ads 5 more horsepower), double wing spoiler (the top wing is adjustable and on the top wing it has GT - R in really cool letters), and the racing seats (which are Unbelievably comfortable, can recline and are adjustable, which give the feel of the car so much more racy)

There are only two small problems with the car which are both fixable. The car has a very slight miss fire at idle which I believe only has to go to a car shop for a tune up. The title also has a lien on it but i am curentlly geting the lien taken off the car. If any questions please email me or call me.

My email is ponycar@localnet.com and my phone number is 257 3222 call me day or evening.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On Nov-09-07 at 12:39:36 PST, seller added the following information:

TODAY I GOT THE LIEN RELEASE! THE TITLE OF THE CAR IS NOW CLEAR! If any questions my phone number is 716 257 3222. Thank you and happy bidding!

Looks like a pretty decent car if it wasn't for the "wang" on the back. Engine compartment looks very nice. But I hardly think it's deserving of a GTR name.

Yeah its a little to overdone for my taste, to me the huge wing would only slow the little 2.5 down. But all comments aside was the bumperpad style available on the base coupe '86 Fieros?

Yup. It was the base model.

Coupe, SE, then GT.

it looks like if the dvd player was opened when the car was in 1,3,or 5th the screen would hit the shifter.

A little too red for my tastes.

Meh take off the spoiler and I'd rock it. It'd get good mpg and be a comfortable nice car to drive with the cushy pep boys seats and the 7" tv.

No offense meant to the owner, but Why can this 4 banger Fiero... WITH A MISS pull down 4 grand, when most nice v6 or even v8 Fiero's usually sell for 2-3k MAX!
What lesson is there to be learned here? Wanna make a buck on your Fiero? Dress it up with a 50 dollar gift certificate from Pep Boys.

In my opinion, clean goes a long way. I see many auctions with dirty exterior, interior, and engine bay. This to me says the car was not taken care of. On ebay pictures mean everything. If the pictures are not clear and detailed and the car looks like it was parked in a barn for the last decade, then you're not going to inspire a lot of warm fuzzy thoughts in a potential purchase. I am not a fan of these kind of mods, however the car is presented well. There is detailed info, good pictures, and above all the car is clean.

I second that. Lets take a 90hp car...weight it down, make it ugly, so I can go even slower! Yea great idea! Gives people more time to laugh as I drive by.

Rare 86 Fiero GT notch back GT-R with a duke. Uber rare single exhaust model.
I myself am gonna hold out for the Duke powered GT-X model. I don't think I will get lucky enough to find or afforrd the GT-O model.
Not to knock the man's sale. If he can sell hot water in hell, more power to him. At least he had pride in his ride. HAD, that is why it is for sale.

the wing would make a kickin bookshelf,

(lets a lot more air in the original side scoop which the book says it ads 5 more horsepower)

what book? maybe he got it when he put that turd of a wing on it.

he should be beat with a rubber hose.

Although we know better, some kid's gonna buy it, find out how slow a Duke is, be laughed at by his Ricer driver friends, and it will either be back on eBay in short order or wind up in a wrecking yard after being neglected or having the crap driven out of it.

The wing is horrible. I wouldn't by a Fiero with a Iron Duke in it for more than $2000, and that would have to be mega clean. I bought my 1986 Fiero GT for $1000 and it is very clean. That thing is a target for cops being red and that huge wing on it.

Too clean of a car also is suspicious unless its a show car.

Or the kid might end up here, have daddy's money and ship it off to Archie to 'fix'.

I know a few people who bought Arizona Cardinals season tickets. Doesn't mean it showed judgment, taste, or a good way to spend money
