I finally picked up some new exhaust tips to replace my "temporary" tips I put on years ago when I did my swap. I don't think anyone else posted pics of the C6 tips on a Fiero yet so here they are if you wanted to see them. I'm in process now while I post these. When I'm done I'll post more and better pics.
One in place...
Compare old resonator tips, new stainless steel...
More pics in a little while!

I ran outta time, gotta go to work! I had to take part of my exhast system out to weld the tips on and just ran out of time, I'll put it all on tomorrow morning and post some pics then.
Changed the sound of the 3.5 a little by removing the old resonators.
I think I'm liking it.

what diameter are the outlets? https://www.zzperformance.com/grand_prix/products1.php?id=567&catid=110 I'm getting ready to get these but if yours are 3.5 outlets and cheaper maybe you can give me a link to where you got em
I never put a muffler on the 3.5 so the tips are all its got for sound suppression. The new tips are resonated and have stainless steel "wool" in them. But they are not as quiet as the first tips I had. I don't think these tips do much at all for sound suppression? I need to drive the car to see if they are going to be to loud.

The inlet is 2" and the outer diam is 3" with .5 thick walls. So the actual holes are 2" outlets.

I think thats most likely due to the outlet size ..it seems like your original tips would induce more velocity and pressure on the sound deadening components being smaller in diameter I hope they at least somewhat quiet my high velocity exhaust system I am "designing" to sound higher in frequency

Finished! They look much better than the old ones, and the car sounds different now, definitely louder now just driving up and down the street. Can't wait to hear it at WOT.
Ready to go in...
Done..
I bought these off a friend who took them off his Vette, usually they are on ebay or someone was selling some in the mall. I got mine for $50.
