I just received the latest magazine for Pontiac Enthusiast. (November/December issue)
http://www.pontiacenthusiast.com/
It is a Fiero-filled issue.
Earl (also known as "lildevil") has his car in the "Readers Rides" section.
There is a big story about the yellow IRM car from the guy who bought it and his trip across the U.S.
There is an article about the John McMullen Auction that happened in Michigan. They auctioned off a low mileage 1988 GT and it went for $22,000.
Also they auctioned off a very low mileage 1984 Indy Pace car which also went for $22,000.
They even commented that the auction price for the Indy was a very good deal.

Barnes and Noble Book stores carry this magazine.

Happiness IS the corner.

No it's the other Earl Sessions in Waldorf MD with a great looking red Fiero...................just kidding!

Congrats it is your car Earl!

You would be suprised how quick some of these go to print. Red cars are also prime for magazine use as they do like to use bright colors.

Get a copy as it looks great in the magazine. Good Job!

Page 17 bottom right in readers rides.

When I get mine in the mail at my house the very same week it shows up at Barnes and Nobles on the shelf.
Unlike most other magazines it is not 2 weeks later after subscribers get theirs.

It is also printed in Ohio so we may see ours here a week before some areas.

I am a subscriber and they show up the same week I get mine in most stores.

Sorry, I assumed that it was understood I was a subscriber when I did not say I bought mine at B&N.

My bad!

Although he didn't state this explicitly, my guess is that Formula88's point is he wouldn't know from your comment which week of a month it is that you get your subscription. Therefore, Formula88 also wouldn't know from your comment which week of a month it is that a new issue of Pontiac Enthusiast will show up at Barnes & Noble.

Yes it is your car. I edited my original post, (Didn't know your PFF name when I posted it.)

They are quick to post readers rides. I sent mine in last year and within a month or two it was in the magazine.

I knew what he ment and explained it better detail and accepted it as my Bad.

Bottom line is I now have my magazine from the mail and there is a good chance B&N now has it now or will have by next Tuesday. My point is subscribers and retailers get theirs magazines in the same week.

There is no set week of the month it is just the same week the subscribers recieve their's they show up retail .

Now that that was beaten to death lets just get the magazine as it is a good issue and enjoy.

Also before it gets over posted, most of us all here will note the Yellow IRM car appears to be a 1984. The buyer was told it was a 1985. This may be his first Fiero and he just did not know. He now knows it is a 1984. Most of s will remember this car for sale on E bay not long ago.

Thanks for all the clarification. Specifically, I was asking if the Nov/Dec issue comes out sometime in Sept., Oct. or Nov. I wasn't expecting someone to have a day or week release, but I didn't know how much lead time there was with the issues.

You would think a November/December issue would be available in - oh, I guess um, NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER. So, yeah, if it was due out THIS month, I'd want to know so I don't miss it.

But, thanks. I'll check B&N and see if they've hit the local stands yet.

You would think the Nov Dec would be in those months but the Jan/Feb will be out by then.

Monthly magazines work about a 1 month ahead and bi-monthly magazines work 2 months ahead.

Nov Dec should be out now, if not you should see it by next week.
