A co-worker called mine a "casket on wheels" but then he got in his rusted out Ford escort hatchback, so I just smiled and let him think what he wants. I know the difference.

Mostly, I just call mine "b!tch." (kidding) I don't really have a nick name for my Formula, although I feel like it's a junior Millennium Falcon from time to time. "She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts. I've made a lot of special modifications myself."
That or perhaps it's the namesake of my father's 61 Corvair, "Shahasta."
Because Shahasta have new brakes Shahasta have a new EGR tube Shahasta have a new ignition module Shahasta have a new heater core.... etc.
I call mine Carlita, but also tend to use "my little car" pretty interchangeably ...... little is in reference to my daily driver 04 Suburban - Brutus.

The original, and often recurring dream is to do a Lambo with it so when I want everyone to laugh I call it the "Fierghini Diablero" with an Antonio Banderas accent.
Mainly though it's "Dirty Look" cuz that's what they all gave me when I drove it home unexpectantly and unannounced.
They'll get over it.

atleastitruns and I named ours "Grandpa". The reasoning?
It has over 175k miles and a few piercings that are starting to droop with old age... not to mention the parts aren't quite functioning like they used to.
