So on occasion I check out the Fiero of the day blog and comment page on Jalopnik.com. Mostly it's people hating on Fieros and calling them death traps. Ignorant jerks.......anyway the latest posting is Archie's GT4T kit. The funny thing is the guy who wrote it up was being kinda mean but a lot of the comments for a change were very possitive. People saying that a swapped out Fiero with good tires would be a blast. Here is the link. For the record..Archie your GT4T kit rules.

Jalopnik was doing a Fiero a day segment a few months ago but were mostly posting really bad looking rebodies then they switched to decent examples and showed Archies GT4T and another V8 notch back before they quit. It was at that time that I signed up to be a commenter and tried to provide them with some links to some of the more interesting projects around here but they never posted anything about FIeros again. Maybe some day.

Congratulations on the sale of that car, at least I can say that I touched it. and for $760 a month it could be mine... Only I would have to live in it.

Since when does "exotic" mean "non-domestic"? You can most definitely be both exotic and American (for lack of a better word) at the same time.

Since it was written in the dictionary.

The word "exotic" means "of foreign origin".

Well, like most words in the English language there are more than one meaning... I looked it up and for Exotic "of foreign origin" is but one of them.

Other definitions are, "strikingly, excitingly, or mysteriously different or unusual" That still fits, the GT40.

But you made your point, it does generally refer to something from another part of the world. or a striptease form of dancing.

Well you have to consider that it's of foreign origin somewhere.

Hmm. I wonder if a chop top is considered a "Tuner car?"

It also means: "of, pertaining to, or involving stripteasing" or "an exotic dancer; stripper."

I knew there was a reason I liked exotic cars.

True. In Germany, Budweiser is an imported beer.

So a Ford can be considered exotic

Heck most people consider a stock Fiero "exotic". Everyone at work is in awe of my car. They can't believ Pontiac made a mid engined car. Mid-engine is exotic enough for Oklahomer.
