I was playing around in tha garage, and came up with a crazy idea....

Take a pair of rear vents, cut them in half (width-wise) then re-assemble them into one unit.

I/2 the fins vent each way with the direction change in the middle, it will fit the hood, and from laying one on top SHOULD look pretty good.

Only 2 problems are #1, how to reinforce the hood to make up for that much material being removed, and #2 How to join the 2 halves of the new grill. I dont think they are weldable, which leaves me with the idea of making a couple splice strips out of old luggage rack rails.

Anybody got any better ideas? (besides junking the entire concept ;-)

*Anything* is possible
Not everything is *probable*

Give it a try and see what happens.
Just remember the old adage: "Measure twice. Cut once"

HI all

Which ferrari style vent are you talking about?

------------------
Me, I sell engines, the cars are for free, I need something to crate the engines in....
Enzo Ferrari....

Today they are called garage's, yesterday, they were stable's! Eric Jacobsen....

YUP! Skitimes decklid is pretty much what I had in mind. Even better.

Arn, I already have 2. If I screw them both up (quite possible ), I'll take you up on the offer.

Hey, it's not the hood, it's the deck. I don't have a spare deck
