Awww, I wish he would offer the kit instead seeing how archie can't send me a quote that I've been asking for for two months.

Well we've got all the parts & proceedures figured out for the 6 speed conversions.
The parts we test fitted the other day are already set for production. All the other "outside" parts needed are either here or are available on very short notice.

These 6 speed conversions are using a lot of O.T.C. Pontiac G6 parts. People who want to do these 6 speed swaps at home with a kit can opt to get those items themselves or we can get them for you. The same thing goes for those who want to have us do the swap. You can bring the parts with you or we can get them for you. I know a lot of people will be calling the bone yards looking for wrecked G6's

We have all the fitting already tested on the SBC & the LSx engines.

There are a few people on PFF who own 4.9 & 2.8 Fieros who have asked that their cars be used for the initial fittings of the parts for those swaps. Those people should EMail me so that we can get their Pontiac parts ordered for them. The 1st 2 2.8 & 4.9 in house swap customers are the only ones who will get the discounted labor rate to do their cars. After that a fair labor rate will be used.

As soon as we've done a couple of these swaps in house, we will have vdeo instructions that will come with the 6 speed conversion kits we ship out.

Who will be the 1st one on your block with a 6 speed Fiero?
Provided that you already have a V-8 in your car, (I know you do) The complete package without installation is $4650.00. That includes:
New Transmission
New Intermediate shaft
Complete axle assemblies
Transmission mounts
Intermediate shaft bearing mounts
New Clutch
New clutch Friction Plate & mounting to mount it to your current F/W
6 speed shift cable mounting brackets
Clutch line fittings & adapter.
OdO. Driver

You will also need to provide a 5 speed shifter & a 4 speed shifter & a Getrag Select Cable that we can modify for your use in your car.

The kit W/O the transmission, intermediate shaft & axle assemblies (but including the axles shafts themselves) is $1910.00.

The prices for the 4.9 & 2.8 will be similar, the price for the LS1 will be $350.00 more.

I think that covers it.

Are the trans mounts solid or felxible (poly or rubber VS steel or Alum monuts)?

Now I have one more thing to save up for!

I'm currently working on quotes for 5 different people doing 3800's.

Some of them have their quotes in hand & I'm waiting for more info from a couple of others before I can accurately quote them. And there may be 1 or 2 of them that I just haven't had time yet to quote.

Many times it's hard to figure out what name goes with what PFF screen name someone uses.

If you can give me your name I can look up the status of your quote.

Congratluations, Archie, It sounds like the 6 speed is a runaway success. How about opening a branch office here in Texas?

Can anyone confirm if you can use the 6 spd with a N* V8? This is the swap I am putting the most effort into, of the 4 Fiero projects I have going on now. Got a new job now and nearly have all my finances under control again so I would like to get one of these cars back on the road for next summer.

So that we don't hijack this thread, I've moved my part of the conversation on 6 speed conversions to V-6 & NStar swaps to page 49 of the What's up at Archie's thread https://www.fiero.nl/forum/F.../HTML/024804-49.html

I can not remeber, but was there some interferance with the water pump and the shift cables on this swap? I have tried to search past threads and came up with nothing so I thought I would ask here since we are talking 6spd swaps.
