I have an 88GT all maroon with t-tops... My felt seal strips with the little rubber insert tube are far beyond gone. The weather strip could also be replaced. For years I've been trying to find replacement parts.

Does anyone know where I can find them? Or a custom weather strip person in Southern California?

Weatherseals (Non-CJB) and P-seals(felt strip)

The last time I talked with them they had two sets left.

They do not have the weather seals that attached to the T-Top glass itself.

Some said the Mustang seals worked, but the set I had were not a good fit. These seals from East Coast T-Top are the exact seals from C&C for Non-CJB cars

Now if we could just find a source for CJB seals and weather strips.

I got the gaskets and felt seals from here - http://www.cjponyparts.com/
I ordered them as an 86 Mustang. I paid less than $200.00 for all four seals.
I did have to trim a little of the gaskets, where they start to go down the B-pillar.

These seals were thought to be unavailable at any price. It's amazing that they exist at all. But it would be nice if a less expensive option were available.

Not trying to start a flame war here, I just can't afford the options I've seen posted.

Tim, I thought you were sold out of the main seals, or that was what I read in a post a few months back. I do remember seeing one seal on E-bay, but Dang Tim, I guess being a cheap SOB that I am I bought an entire new set for less than you wanted for that one seal. BTW East Coast T-top said they talked with you a few times and wouldn't sell to you because you wanted such a steep discount. You knew these existed.

Blackrams, A few people more than once have tried to have seals made with no luck. If your lucky to find them you better buy them if your in need. I did some calling around about 9 months ago and found these. But before I bought them I tried the C&C Mustang and Camaro seals and they have to be cut and reglued, etc to get them to fit and even then they are not that great.

Good Luck

I have never talked with them, never knew they were in existence. They have us mixed up with another company.
Can you find that post for me that shows I'm sold out of all seals?

Earl,
Actually, my seals are still in good shape but I know that eventually they will detroiate. I'm just looking for a replacement set for when that happens. My CJB T Top is the only car I have that gets a car cover, is stored ininside 100% of the time and gets all the TLC I can muster. Though 99% stock, it is my favorite Formula out of all of them sitting here. I've toyed with the thought of doing a conversion on it but I don't want to ruin that Original luster it has. Absolutely nothing to do with retaining perceived Value issues, I just love it the way it is. It's not like I don't have other Fieros to "play" with.

Tim,
So what's the price on those seals/weather stirpping? Doubt I can afford them but thought I'd ask.
Editted to correct Tim's name, sorry about that Tim.

Tim I never said all seals, just the main seals, you might have one left, drivers side? No I'm not going looking through a bunch of post to find it, it's not worth my time to justify anything to you. If this reply sounds a little hostile it's because I'm a little irritated about it.

They knew your name Tim before I said anything. We talked about trying to have these reproduced with no luck. They even knew where you got all the T-Top stuff to begin with. Apparently you had a convesation with them a few months before I did.

What bothers me is you knew everyone was looking and you apparently did have a conversation with them but they wouldn't sell to you. I understand you have a business and you want to make a profit, but to me it was very obvious you did talk with them and you did know about them. Personally I think because you couldn't make money on them you with held this info from the rest of the Fiero Community.

It only took me a day through E-mails to find these guy, it wasn't hard. Once I had my set (I waited because these are hard to find) I shared the info which is what I thought this forum was all about. I've given away more stuff here in the last 6 years than I care to remember because this isn't a place to exploit people for hard to find parts.

Here we go again, Tim did this, Tim did that. I told you I have NEVER had ANY contact with these guys and if I did I would HAVE bought all the seals, then mark them up on eBay just to make a buck. I'm closing the doors, I’m looking to sell off the inventory not add to it.

Look, who cares who did this or who did that. I have a t-top myself with questionable seals, I'm also looking for an affordable solution. Enough of this squabbling amongst ourselves. Let's find a solution together, either some seals that can be made to work, or find someone who can make them for us. -Jason
