I recently got a new computer with a windows Vista operating system, I loaded PIP OK, but when I try to start it I get the following error message, "Run-time error '75', path/file access error" does anyone have any ideas what the problem may be, I will add that I am not a computer wiz, so keep your solutions simple, thanks.

I posted this in your other thread as well:

I have PIP running on vista and it seems to work ok, but one thing I noticed with Vista is in order to guarantee that everything works after you install it. You need to right click on the setup file and click run as an administrator even though you are an administrator of your own machine. It will flake out when you try to run the program otherwise. Or it won't completely install all components. Especially if it needs to modify DLL files.

Alternatively you can always try running it in compatibility mode for XP SP2

I'm running Vista Ultimate, and PIP is running fine on my machine. I can't remember if I had to do anything special to get it to run or not.

I don't know, it didn't work for me until I ran it as the administrator.
