i went up to west coast fieros, and had chris west make me a custom short shifter, with no bends in it. and shorter throw.

ran me 80 bucks, then I got this titanium razo 340g weight counter balanced shift knob, the short shifter felt nice, but with them both combined it's leaps and bounds above the stock shifter, makes it feel like your shifting a newer car, not a 80's car.

oh yeah pics!
waay better then thre stock fiero leather one "anyone wanna buy that one" and the weight helps alot too.

anyways pics! what u all think?

it is a little shorter, the shift knob can also drop down about a inch more if i keep threading it, but it feels perfect the way it is, the bend was also removed, but by short shifter what I mean is the throw has been shortned, so I don't have to move the shifter as far to get it into each gear, its shorter and feels much better

I like the looks of it, but it doesn't seem that short. Mine is short, about three inches from the base to the knob.

its short enough for enzo ferrari

my stock shifter height

I wasn't going for super short, I wanted confortable, and shorter, but not super short. I was really trying to mimic the shifter in my srt-4 since I LOVED that one.

i had the bend removed because I hated that the most. I also got the ball at 340g weight, it really helps with the feeling of shifting compared to the super light stock one. or other ball shifters. I threaded the ball using the metal since none of the plastic adapter sleeves would fit, I only threaded it part way down, so I can lower it another half inch to inch if I wanted. but I really like it where it is.
