anyone tried using a electric remote water pump on there V8 swap, sure would give some extra room

Electric pumps are mostly for drag racing and not for daily use. Note the hours listed.

There are some that do claim for street use but use caution as the failure rate on electric pumps is much greater than the mechanical. I warranty a lot of electric pumps through work and most were used for street driven cars.

If electric pumps were very cheap and reliable we would see them on the cars from the factory.

I have seen a few work well on street cars but they are in the minority.

Many of us are running electric pumps on our V8 swaps without any problems.
