I had a meeting with a deer on the way home from the Fiero-meeting in Jönköping 15/7.
Im not saying that i won't be there, i will if i can get the car fixed up. (Thank you for the hotel info.)
But i won't show up in a car looking like this!

It will need a new nose, new hood, new headlight with the mecanism. (Motor seems to work.)
Possibly a new fender.

Hmm...look's like you have bad example for purchasing a new set of NSX headlamps. Sorry to hear about the accident.

Now would be a good time to install the Hella 90mm lights like Yellowfiero have.

last act before crashing back to normal ; Got a lot of parts from Albert, engine cradle was the priority because I need it for the engineswap but the extra suspensionparts are welcome for a fresh rebuild....

Do I need to feed them or do we need to eat them? lol

Yes the GT-nose cracked by the impact. (Also it's permanently deformed.)
I was in contact with a guy from the insurance company today, He asked me if i wana leave my car to some shop, to be repaired. Or if i preffered to repair it my self. I laughed at him, he said he had to ask.
A inspector will have a look at the car, and then they will make me an offer for cash to repair it my self.
The meeting is in less than six weeks, i don't know how long it takes to sort it out with the insurance company, then there is the repair and painting of the car, so if i'm gona make it to the meeting, i better start fixing it fast as soon as the inspector had his look, later this week. (Company will send a inspector to my house to check the car.)

Ok I get the picture. Just for reverence, one of my accidents (I have a history but most were not my fault!) caused simmilar damage, some guy didnt gave me right of way at a crossing, I hit him at the side while braking on wet surface at about 50km/h, cracked the GT nose, fronthood and shattered sidemarkers and it needed some minor straightening of the front frame (look if you have damage there) Inspect everything yourself first and report it to the inspector...or you will find damage afterwards and it wont be covered. I think I got about 2000 euros to get this one fixed. They usually make a deal with the shop that will repair the damage, around here they really want to inspect the car at a shop. If you have a trustfull place to go to talk about the situation and about the work you can do yourself

hope you can find the parts in Sweden, I know of a GT nose for sale in the netherlands and maybe some german owners have the other spares but shipping will still be costly..let us know if we can help out.

yeah but the sponsoring wasnt your idea..lol...got everything documented and stored in my lawyers safe now lol
But yes, no banner or flag, not sure how its been done before...

Thanks for the support. Insurance inspector will come to my home tomorow. So far i located hood and "eyelid" for the ligt. But most of all i found out prices for the parts, when the company makes me an offer, i will be preppaired. Didn't find prices for the paint job yet though.
And now lets get back to toppic. I feel like iwe been hijacking this thread. Sorry about that.

Just took 2 days off work before the meeting so I can finish some stuff up. Otherwise there's no competition with Fie Ro's amazing car!

Working and living in 2 different places and being married really takes time away from my Fiero - bummer!

Cliff told me that he won't be able to make it due to a prior engagement that he can't cancel.
I too have had something come up that may keep me from being able to come. I'll know for sure by tomorrow.
