About how much room do you have between the exhaust pipes and trunk/firewall/ anything else it gets near? Any chance of some pictures showing how you ran the exhaust? Looks good and sounds mean.
The front side muffler is ran under the oil pan and the back side muffler is ran along the back of the cradle. Its 2 1/2 pipe to Moroso mufflers. I didn’t use mandrel bent pipe but will be replacing it later, I used off the shelf pipe and the elbows are pretty narrow. The muffler under the oil pan is a little low but the back side tucked in pretty well. Its not as close to the trunk as the stock muffler was. I will try to get some pictures but I need some batteries first.
Cool thanks for the info. If you get a chance and get a few pictures that would be awesome too. I wanna try to run some electric dumps on my 327 when I install it and I'm trying to decide where to put them.
What are those exhaust manifolds called? I want to replace the ram horns on my Fino. The purple V8 has the same as yours and they look like they flow much better. I just don't know what to look for.
Wow....That sounds exactly like my Fiero. What mufflers? I'm running no cats and Dynomax race bullets 2.5" true duals, high compression and a big mamoose camshaft. Dave
Just so you know. The Sanderson CC90 headers lasted a year before they rotted out on me. They also increased the underhood temps. I switched to rams horn manifolds for my V8 and they have no noticable torque or hp difference that I can feel. jmo Dave
Nice. Do you plan to make something to make area 2 below to look as wide as area 1? I think that rocker panel kit should bring something to address that for proper look.
This thread is dead and I will not recreate it, well not here anyway. When Cliff has time I asked him to close it.
For those of you that enjoyed or asked me questions about my build I will be happy to help just send me a PM. I guess thats what you get when you put V8 in the thread name. Jake
