On Friday morning all my sisters and my mother and grandmother got up at 5 am to go to Macys I grabbed the Pep Boyz (cool hunh) ad and got in the car with them, I had my Grandmother come in with me so I got 2 $10 gift cards and I got to shopping. Then I spend the rest of the day playing mechanic in my garage and snagged a few pics. You guys will be impressed with the cost list.

Torin 2 ton Jack, 2x 2 ton jack stand, and a 6 caster creeper $24.99
Duplicolor 500 Degree Red Brake Paint $5.99
125 piece forged steel SAE and Metric ratchet and wrench set $24.99
WD40 $1.99
4 quarts semi-synthetic oil $8.50
Stabil Fuel Stuff $ dunno
Stainless Hose Clamps $2.20
Ram Oil FIlter (free b/c my uncle left it in the trunk of my car HAHAHAHA)

I bought other stuff too, all I remember is, I spent $80 in total and I havd $20 in gift cards so the days total came to $60 and I have $15 in rebated in the mail so all that stuff for $45. The jack set was like $7 in the end.

Thats right dryer hose true ram conversion $0 for the tube (the basement is gonna smell wierd tho....) and $2.20 for the clamps.

$7 jacks at work

Before Brake pic

Masking

What do you think?

THis pic was just funny to me

Call me a ricer but i like them

I think I am pretty resourceful for a 15y/o all the kids at school take their range rovers to the dealer ship for oil changes. One girl asked me if her new BMW had oil because it is german.

Not bad at all. I kind of like it. You made a good investment in the jack stands and a nice job with the painted calipers.

Yea she definately is, sadly she has a BF. I tried so hard not to laugh when she said it to me in person. She belives that I speak Japanese too, because I was reading this kid something off wikipedia on how to write Haikus and it had poems in english, then translated in Japanese with a phoenetic english writing so I read both and her response was, "on my god Paul-Michael you can translate english into japanese that fast?" so I read a few more.

I bet she's blonde? If her boyfriend isn't mechanically inclined, you could always make some cash doing her oil changes, tune-ups, blinker-fluid top-offs...

I'm not so sure about that, sounds high maintenance. I don't know about you, but I like to keep my car the only high maintenance thing in my life.
