So I know there's a few (very few..) of us on here from Vancouver Island.

Just curious to see how many of us there are?

And if there are enough, we should get a meet together sometime. Although, lately the weather has sucked, and trust me...I KNOW! I work outdoors, driving the horse drawn carriages in downtown Victoria

Although I live in Winnipeg right now, I'm in Vic (well Esquimault) for 4 months of the year, and have my car with me. 88 GT 5 spd.
I'd love to hear of any summer get togethers on the island.

Hey, island people.
Don't mean to horn in on your thread, just wondering if anyone knows who this car belongs to.
It's rough, but I liked what he did with the rear lights, it was unique.

I take it you finally got your clutch bled out.

Did you ever track down the guy in Vic with the hugely customized silver fiero with the ghost horse on the side and big wing.

no, never did!

And I finally caved, took the Fiero to a shop, and got them to do it, just so I would have a warrenty on the damn work and wouldn't have to keep re-doing it every 3 months. So now I have a year warrenty on it, and they get to mess with it if it f*cks up again!

Colins car was for sale on one of the local websites not long ago for the rediculos price of only 3800$...I forget what it said in the add but by the sounds of it he needed teh money bad enough to let someone steal it from him. If the new owners on here hopefully they'll pop in

My parents live on the island (youobou) and i come out every few years to visit them, won't be until summer though now as the snow is starting to fall and my Fiero is getting tucked away. It would be cool to hook up some time.

i saw the yellow and black one on usedvictoria.com for 3800$ a few weeks before i bought my black with silver striped GT..so that makes it a bout 4 months ago...wonder what it finally went for

As for zac's 4.9, oh well, christmas is coming soon so buying a motor probably isn't the best idea..

This is the car I am talking about.

There are a couple shots that you can see the owner in.

Does anyone on the island know if he is still kicking around.

When I was over on the Island helping Domesticgal, we went out to a local car spot and I saw the Fiero driving by. I did not have a chance to jump in my car and chase it down. But I know it is still over there. Just don't know if it has changed hands or what not.

This were taken at the 2004 Arlington Show.

I'm living in Colwood, up on the top of Triangle Mountain. I've got an '84 Fiero-based kit car in the works. She's at about 95 % completion right now and I'm hoping to have it all 100% done up for March. I'd be game for a get together anytime, and if anyone wants to drop in and see the project, just let me know! You can email me at bob(at)rc-sub.com anytime.

Here's the link to my project: http://www.rc-sub.com/lamborghini.html

I'm totally up for a meet. Let me know when you guys want to swing in and I'll open up the garage and get the car out into the driveway where you can walk around it. If anyone wants to drop in anytime before that, just drop me a line at bob(at)rc-sub.com and we can arrange for a time.

Domestic Gal... I used to live really danged close to you... just up Setchfield Ave, right next to the elementary school.

And I don't drive a green pickup. Until about a week ago I was the proud driver of a minivan. I finally convinced my wife to give me my manhood back and we got a new Nissan Murano SUV.

Hoping to have the car running again in the next week or so. I need to plumb in the heater and wire in the rad fan and electric water pump. Doh.. just remembered that I need to bring that stupid rad in to fix a nick I put in it. Does anyone know of a good rad shop here in the western communities?

Ok, so Im going to try to organize a cruise/meet for either this weekend, or next weekend. Anyone who wants to come, please e-mail me at equitation_rider@hotmail.com, or add me to MSN, and I'll try to get the details worked out.

The cruise will most likely take place in Victoria.
