One of my all time favs as well !
The Manta and it's little brother, the Manta Montage.
Both loosely styled on the old McLaren Mk IV if memory serves.
Last I knew the molds popped up in Texas somewhere, but I don't know if the kit is in production anywhere now.

I like it. Love the back end, but I am not sure about the front wheel wells.

Found some more pics..

If we painted it black it would almost look like something out of Batman.

One of my sisters friends baught one of those when they first came out,on his the whole rear tiled up to revel the engine.Totally easy to work on the engine from there. He got alot of complements from people, even one guy who fallowed him in a Vector to ask him what it was called.

I have a Montage that is waiting its turn for a spot in the garage. Need to put a wiring harness in her. They are fun to drive, almost like a go cart and get lots of looks. If anyone is interested in posting some pictures for me, I will email them to you.

I think that you may have been thinking of the Sterling. The Sebring is an Austin Healey replica.

lol i remember that show . i loved that car every time i turned that show on . would still love to have one to this day.

The COYOTE is the car used in the TV series Hardcastle & McCormick. Rolling Thunder is a correct description for this car. It sounds very heavy. The COYOTE was built from Manta Montage. The base chassis is from VW and the engine is a VW-Porsche 914. It's not a very big motor, but it makes this light-weight car very fast.

The second version of the COYOTE was based on a DeLorean. It was used in
the 2nd and 3rd season of the series.
