I know of the 5" or so stretch done for lambo kit cars, I have heard of the GM 4 seater fiero, and I have seen some widebody kits (don't know how many actually changed the position of the wheels). I'm wondering more of what extremes have been done, how long is the longest fiero, how wide is the widest fiero? Mostly idle curiousity, but also to see what the potential is, how much strength is in the chassis, etc.

Diablo replicas require an 11" or 11 1/2" stretch, and a lot of replicas use longer control arms and coilovers to widen the track several inches.

Yeah, read that after I posted. Has there ever been anything more than that? 24 inches? 18? Would it structurally hold with that much stretch?

I see sites like NAERC have 3" wide track for their diablo, but is there anything wider? 6"? 12?

The Fiero "Stretch Limo".....

I believe this car was started by The Prezzz and Fiero John-WI. Chester had it for a while, and then Archie had it. I don't know if he still does or not, it was for sale last I knew.

how did you miss this tread

I was actually reading it earlier today, but I wasn't going to go through n pages trying to find out what was done and how much. I'm just one man! I saw the pics on the last page, but don't know how much of a stretch that is. Care to share the short version?

Looks like a 2ft stretch? And in kind of bad shape Interesting, though. Thanks for sharing!
