You think 14's would look stupid? I thought thats what most of us went with. Im not worried about bling bling, just want it to look sharp.

I think a large number of people on the board are running 16" and 17" wheels. One of my re-bodies has 18"'s. Madcurl might be running 20"'s at least 19" wheels. One suggestion if you decide to go large I would recommend staying away from 16" wheels there isn't a great selection in the wide selection. The larger rims also help accomidate big brake upgrades so if you are thinking about upgrading your brakes 16" is pretty much your minimum. Just some thoughts if you intend to go full blown in the future with your car. Take care. Bill

The price of 16+ inch tires have droped down a lot in the past few years and will continue to drop as more and more cars get 16+inch wheels on them as stock

in my opinion 14s are way too small.. a respectable size would be 17s all around. thats would look sharp but not overly done. but it all depends on what you want. i didnt even think they sold 14s anymore.

I have 15's on my car (so tires would be more affordable), but the tire selection really suffered and I had to lower the car way too much so it didn't look silly (as compared to everyone's 17/18's).
The tire selection on 14's is awful, but if you're confident with 185/60s, and don't mind a wheel gap so big you can fit your head in there... go with it. It's your car, it should be want you want... not what everyone else likes.

Yeah the black lace were 15's. I have a set on my Formula with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's. 225 60 back, 205 50 front. The fronts look a little small, imho, but the car handles and rides so nice.

On my other 88, I have Akita 4, 17 front, 18 back. Hate the Wanli tires. Love the wheels (they draw comments.)

I think 185 60 14 would look way too small. I'd suggest either 205 or 215 60.
