Anyone up for meeting at Hooters on US31 again soon? I've had a couple people ask me about it so I thought I would make a post.

Depending on the date, I can probably go. I get my car back with Cold Air this week (FINALLY!)

Got autocross 7/23, might be able to do the 21st or 22nd that weekend at the earliest. Anything else would have to be later (and that might be better, more planning time=more people usually).

edit=grammar is my friend.

Sounds good, wanna set a date for the 22nd then, Saturday? What time is best for everyone?
Also, theres always a TON of cars out cruising down US31 after 10pm on Friday & Saturday nights, i'll be out with some people cruising from indycarz.com if anyone wants to join up. We mostly go around the circle then hang out around Steak N' Shake parking lot with other cars. Its right across the street from Hooters pretty much.

Pick a time, later the better I think. Like 8-ish or something? 9 might be even better depending on what's going on with people.

Hey there Joe,
It's not ringing any bells in my brain, I would rember the car at the least.
I will be in the market for at least one set of side scoops (again), Mecham style. Got any made up? Same price?

Some one should get a decent head count this time and whenever a time is set and agreed upon, call Hooters and issue a warning call about seating for the group. I'm sure they would appreciate the heads up about it as well.

Darn, found out a bit late to get to join you guys. Do you all do this often or even have something more formal like norther Illinois has? I would love to hook up with some fellow Fiero-hoosiers.

Almost time, though I am afraid that I will be unable to bring the Fiero

My air conditioner did not stay fixed (leaked out all the freon) and my mechanic will not be able to get it back in until next week Wed. or Thur.

Look for me in the Cav (Red '00 z24)

A bit of advice: always have them put in some dye when you get your air charged.. Makes it tons easier to find the leak if you develop one later ( or rather when... )

At least finding the freon leak isn't my problem, it's up the mechanic

I just drove by Hooters to find a hot chick getting out of a silver GT notchback Fiero right next door at the steak house next to Hooters. By the time I got over there she had already went inside, was in a work outfit. I'm going to go back and leave a note on her car and see if she'll stop by Hooters tonight...and of course, leave my phone number lol

"started right up" is a relative term

I'd never expect a fuel injected car to ever require pumping the gas pedal, but it seemed to trick the car into firing the injectors or something....it did eventually start.

Get that relay fixed dood!

My fiero will be able to that distance by the next one or I'm rolling it off a cliff! I'm glad I didn't, because I took it autocrossing Sunday, and found out that BOTH of my "remanned" calipers were leaking! Not much, but enough that I wouldn't be comfortable taking it very far. Between my old calipers, the two "remans" and one GM rebuild kit, I should be able to get two good ones (I hope).
