Many months ago (but less than a year), I remember a 1988 GT T-Top in Burgundy, 5-spd, with a tan leather interior that sold on eBay.

Did anyone here snag that car? Or, does anyone know who did?

I bought a burgandy 88GT 5-speed a couple weeks ago, but it has a factory sunroof instead of t-tops unfortunately. And it has gray interior and probably isn't near as nice.

This images is larger than 100K. Click to view.

Nice find, but yeah, the one I remember was under 25k miles, and was absolutely immaculate-- it looked showroom fresh.

BUMP, for anyone else who might have some info on it.

The one I remember had more than 117 miles on it, but was still mind-bogglingly clean and sharp.

I remember it as:
-Less than 25k Miles
-Burgundy
-Tan or Sandalwood (?) Leather interior
-5-Spd
-T-Top
-Gold Wheels

I'd love to find whoever bought it, and offer him various limbs, organs, etc. plus lots of money for it.

Anyone know where it is? Please tell me that it's not being used as a daily driver!

THANKS

You mean this one, Gordo?

It now belongs to Purple Reign. He brought it down for the WOW show in Omaha a couple of years ago...

Did he buy it? My old boss said he had it since the early/mid 90's and just parked it in the garage. It was funny, cause I had worked there for a couple of months (when I had my '85 se) Get to work one day and there it is. Ask the boss about it, "Oh yeah, thats mine." He used to be involved with the local fiero club (FOCOSEVA) , his name was Al Quaqish (i think thats his last name) was a beautiful car

Damn, if only that was a notchback Formula, it would be everything I like about Fieros!

I have a few "perfect" Fieros in my head, all of which I dream of lining up in a garage next to each other one day:

1-Immaculate Indy, stock.
2-Black/Silver '85 GT, Sunroof, Grey Interior, stock.
3-1988 GT, Bright Red 81, T-Tops, Grey Leather, Black lace wheels, 5-spd, stock.
4-1988 GT, Burgundy, T-Tops, Tan leather, Gold lace wheels, 5-spd, stock.

You guys get the idea that I'm into STOCK Fieros? Whatever gave you THAT impression???

My garage queen comes close to #3, except she's got cloth seats and and automatic tranny. I still love her though. She's the first Fiero I've ever owned. If I owned those four Fieros in addition to my number 1, I might quit at five, drool on them all for the rest of my life, and start collecting Corvairs. Maybe I just have a soft spot for cars with unique engine placement and bad reputations.....

HA!

P.S. BUMP! For whoever might have info on who bought the Burgundy T-Top.

Yep...I bought it and then put a SILVER leather interior into it. Just kidding! Actually it had black wheels, 107k and a cloth interior when I got it but it's becoming the car I have always wanted.

I must be remembering that particular ebay Fiero listing incorrectly. I don't remember the car having more than 20k miles.

Does anyone know if there's a way to pull up completed ebay listings that are as old as a year? Is that possible? Or do they dump such pages permanently after a certain amount of time???

Shameless self-bump. Anyone know anything about that car? Who it went to? Would they like to re-sell it?
