This is part number 60522 at the fiero store, I lost mine while jumping someone elses car in a parking lot at night and I could not find it. So now I need a new one does anyone know of an acceptable substitute or can send me one from a junk or parts car. It would be appreciated the price at the fiero store seems a bit steep $7.50 for a single screw

You mean I can change out my "slotted" decklid vent screw for one with the hand-flap? WHY WASN'T I TOLD!?!? I've been using a screwdriver to remove it so I could check my tranny fluid.
Sorry for your predicimament, however it has helped me out. I was thinking about repainting mine, but now that I know I can buy them new at TFS, I just may do that.
Thank you, and I hope you get one.

I grab them from Fieros in the junkyard when I see them. Both my GT vents have those, and I gave the rest away to other people for their cars so they wouldn't need to use a screwdriver. The vents won't go anywhere without the screws, so its not going to fly off the car. Hit up a junkyard with at least 1 Fiero and you should be good to go. My local yards gives em to me for free since they're just screws.

The screw just goes through the vent and through a little plastic washer underneath that keeps it from falling off the vent. Just grab the plastic washer so it doesn't spin and unscrew the screw. Sometimes it won't thread, so you just gotta yank it off. Takes 2 seconds.
