Now that's a good question. I love tye look of a chop top but I seriously doubt that at 6 ft 5 I'd be able to get in one and drive it comfortably given that I only have an inch of headroom in my 85 SE with sunroof.
I am 5' 9 ". I got to test fit 2 choptops (Jscott's and Madcurl's) before i purchased mine. Plenty of headroom once i was inside, the trick however was bending down an extra degree as not to bump your head getting in, as i did on my first try.
Didn't feel bad though as virtually everybody i watched did the same their first go round hehehe.
Me and Madcurl's choptop #15 at Daytona 2005.

I would guess Curly is about 5'11" or right at 6'. I am 6'2" and he laughs at me because I can never get in or out of his car without hitting my head and when I am inside I am kinda stooped. I have been thinking about taking this old set of T-tops I have out here and this old Formula that sits around and making a chop but there is no way I personally would want one without T-tops for the extra head room.

I am 6'2" and plan to chop my 88. This last summer I got my vette seats and set them up as they would need to be on a chop top car just to make sure I would be happy/comfortable driving the car. Everything is a go heigth-wise for me.

You also have to keep in mind that people are built differently... if you have a rather "long" torso - then you might have trouble getting comfortable if you're much over 6'-6'2"... but if you have longer legs at the same height, you'd probably be pretty comfortable.
I'm roughly 6' & 225lbs w/32" inseam - and I fit fairly well in the Stinger...

I sat in one (a homebrew) at Fierorama, still had plenty of head room(6'1"), I did however BASH my head on the A pillar only seconds after joking about how it would be easy to forget about when getting out of the car. Irony huh?

This is a very important consideration. I'm only about 5' 10" but I have a 32"+ inseam, which means I have a short torso. I have almost too much headroom, and I'm considering RAISING the driver's seat when I install my Mr Mike's.

Me...34"+ inseam. Right after installing Mr. Mike's seats (88 w/bladders + extra padding) it took 1300 miles before the seats molded around the gluteous-maximus.
