Calling all Fiero's in the Phoenix ARIZONA area to participate in a free car show on Sat. January 14 in Tempe....
WHAT IS THIS???
--- this is a non-judged, free show where participants get a chance to show off their wheels, talk to other car nuts, and get free goody bags with lunch tickets and raffle tickets. This is low-key and a lot of fun. Come out and see the Checker/Schuck's/Kragen funny car, xtreme motorcycle demonstrations, and all the other cars.
--- last year there were around 250 cars (muscle cars, street rods, classic cars), including two Fieros (one stock 88 GT and one 87 GT in the skin of a Ferarri). There were about 6 DeLoreans lined up last year and it would be fun to have more than two Fieros lined up this year.
WHERE IS THIS???
--- this is at the Arizona Christian Church at 923 S. Rural at Knox Road in Tempe (between Warner and Ray)
--- this is just 2 miles west of the 101 (and Warner) or about 3 miles east of I-10 (and Warner).
WHEN IS THIS???
--- 10am to 2pm Sat Jan 14 2006; pre-registered vehicles are requested to arrive between 7-9am. Last year there was free registration at the gate starting at around 9am. There is a limit of 350 cars, so if you want to register at this show, you should be there before 11 am.
WHO IS SPONSORING THIS???
--- this is an annual event of the ACC Frontline Men's Ministry at the Arizona Community Church in Tempe. This is the 8th Annual Motorsports Day at this church.
