As the title says, I need to know if I am able swap heads from a Buick Grand National to a GM 3800.

Nope, they are way different, the GN heads are 8445 casting and they are nothing special unless they are ported with big valves. You can't put a GN head on a 3800 motor, If you have a 86-87 3.8 FWD motor then you will be able to bolt GN heads on to it but the 3800 block is totally different casting and pattern.

Thats the info I needed, thanks. I was told that certain years would work but could find no info on the net to confirm this, but then agin I did not put much effort into the search, I don't think I spent an hour looking at various 3800 web sites but nothing had any cross reference on parts.
