Last summer when I was fixing my pegging temp guage, I took the cover off the insturnment cluster and found a sticker with the dat 12/8/83 and my car's VIN number on it. Considering it's Fiero # 24,421, and the paperwork I got from Pontiac Historical Services said it was sold in May 1984 in Caro, MI, I believe this is the car's build date, or birthday (buildday?)

So happy 22 years! I got it a set of new tires, and drove it a bit today.

Cool info! Next time I have an instrument panel apart, I'll pay more attention to any sticker(s) I find there.

Your car is lucky, to have a knowledgeable owner to take care of it. Plus, it's now demonstrated the ability to be re-tired at age 22!
