Ok, after being a Fiero owner for 13 years, owning so many that I am ashamed to count and reading other peoples woes on the Forum, I have compiled a couple top 10 lists of common Fiero woes. Some are typical of a 20 year old car & some unique to the breed. There are so many problems, I had to break them into two categories, mechanical & cosmetic. Feel free to rearrange & add more.
Fiero Top 10 Mechanical Headaches 1 Bleeding air from the clutch hydraulics 2 Broken EGR Tube on 2.8 3 Rusted / frozen cradle bolts 4 Crushed cooling pipes 5 Fuel gage inaccurate 6 E-brake doesn't work 7 Headlight motor, lights goes down, won't go up 8 Badly done repairs from former owners (what on earth were they thinking when they did that?) 9 Worn out door hinge pins 10 Changing front spark plugs on your 2.8
I'd take the plugs off the mechanicals list. The v6 in my fiero is alot easier than the v6 in my wife's '93 luimina 3.1! The Lumina requires the alternator to be removed to reach ANY of the plugs against the firewall!

try living a little farther north.. come winter, frozen shifter cable! And it does't help when you engine swap doesn't follow the old exhaust routing!.

i agree! the 2.8 plugs (besides my duke) were among the easist to change...altho being tall and lanky helps.....
Yeah, I was able to change them on ours as well however I have read enough horror stories of them snapping off and having to drop the engine to get an easy-out in there.
