This is a second post as the other may not have been clear from the title (looked like I want to buy vacuum pipe).

I'm fairly new to owning a V6 Fiero and mine is stalling badly when hot.

I'm told it is often a vacuum leak in the pipe that connects to the EGR.
it's a daft question I know but where can I find the EGR and this vaccum pipe?

I must get me a manual!

Thanks

Check your first post I left you an answer there. It is located on the exhaust cross-over pipe.

Thanks, I found it!

I posted in the wrong place here really and decided to duplicate in the tech forum.

Thanks for your help, I've asked you another question about it there too.

Thanks

This picture shows the EGR cover (w/ a black cover)

This is a plain egr tube.

This picture shows the tube connectted to the EGR adapter

Thanks 200RT, that's great and I did manage to find the EGR and confitrm that the plate inside it does move up and down but the engine runs the same when I do this, is that normal?

I also noticed that under the red "fiero" plenum there's a collection of vacuum pipes and one larger diameter pipe runs to where the throttle connection is at the left hand side of the engine but it isn't connected to anything.

I've capped it off for now and the car seems to run a little better.

I'm sure it should be connected to something but I can't see anything that it would connect to.

Here are some pictures showing the vacuum lines that may help:

If moving the diaphragm up and down inside the EGR valve hat doesn't change the way the engine runs then either the valve is plugged solid, the tube is plugged (probably at the manifold end) or the tube is broken or cracked somewhere.
