FINALLY! After hours of alteration over a course of two weeks, my new center console is complete. Still fully funcional cigarette lighter sunken in, complete with two cup holders. The picture doesn't show the cup holders very well, and I have a coin holder in one of them right now anyways. Best of all I split the airspace equally and sealed them much better than my first attempt at the console. Finished off with polyester velvet with inlayed red cord for the trim. This console not only hits harder, and looks better, but I cut down the meaurements DRASTICALLY from my last one, but still left enough room for the subs to hit properly. Because I put the bottom sub back more towards the firewall, I have way more elbow room and easy access to the power mirrors/windows/shifter.

The pics don't do it justice. It really does look bulky, but it feels perfect. nice level height for me to rest my right arm on.

im not 100% sure but i thought facing 2 subs toward each other like that would mess with quality of sound?

Actually facing subs in a "V" helps the sound waves travel 3 times faster. Pointing them at each other hurts.
