Does anyone have one installed? I DO. I would like to compare notes.

Picked one up at a salvage yard over the weekend then managed to install it. Kinda. It's temporary for now since I need an adaptor plate due to me using the Cadillac latch since I didn't have power trunk option on my car.
It was much easier than I thaught. At this time it's pulling down just a hair too far maybe about 1/16" - 1/8" This was an easyone!!!

I was thinking about this mod for some time, but was thinking about using the Camaro/Firebird pulldown. That thing is huge and I couldn't visulize how it would fit in the trunk. I'll have to wait until I get home to see the video. -Jason

I was letting you hear the MOTORIZED trunk release those three pushes. Motorized is a lot better than magnetic solinoids.

I agree... what model and year... i also was thinking of going with a Camaro one, my Dad had an RS that had that on it... was SWEET. I wanted to get that latch and then go with pnumatic up and down for the deck and hood. With that latch i could close it TOTALY with out even being outside!! How cool would that be
