For people thinking about putting a turbo in their Fiero, this is an interesting article which explains the mechanics of them!

Enjoy

"howstuffworks" is a great site. EVERYTHING gets explained.....even why ice expands when it freezes, when all other stuff gets smaller when cooled.

Hey I love that they said this ....

"One of the surest ways to get more power out of an engine is to increase the amount of air and fuel that it can burn. One way to do this is to add cylinders or make the current cylinders bigger. "

"Some" people say more cylinders don't make more power.

I think what those people mean is that a 4.6L v6 still has more displacement that a 4.0L v8

dut displacement only means how much potential for power it has - even with forced induction.. the second half of the equation in any pump (since an engine is a pump) is how well can it breath (the head design is a major limiting factor on many engines)
