I'm just interested on any info anyone has on any really really cheap and easy interior/exterior mods that are really nice looking. I have almost no money so it can't cost much at all.... Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

One of the cheapest and coolest mods this year,..adding a front fiero fender to the rear to create a semi-wide body effect.

This ingenious flair idea came from Madcurl.

Practically everybody has a set of fiero fenders lying around. Cheap, easy, and produces great look !

The best cheap thing I've done recently was the cover my door panels, carpet shells, and back window piece in vinyl. It cost less than $100 total (including vinyl, fleece backing, heat resistant spray glue, hot glue, and heavy duty staples) and is an amazing difference. Took about 20 hours total, some laziness included, and wasn't difficult other than getting the curve of the tops of the door panels just right. Plus now I can spill whatever I want and just wipe it right up. I did my whole interior and don't have any pictures before the Mr. Mike's were in and rest of everything was painted (minus Mr. Mikes the whole project only cost about $200), but I think if you did it in charcoal gray (or tan) with a stock interior it would still look impressive and much, much cleaner.

Vinyl dye and spraypaint, you can completely change the feel of your interior with that. although some seat covers are tacky, if you find the right ones they will follow the curve to the seat and actually improve the look of the interior, Mine did. I wish I had a picture, sorry about that one. Also recarpeting isn't that expensive and fairly easy to do as long as you take your time and be precise. Taking it one step at a time is very important on these little cheap mods, because if you mess up while reusing your original parts, you may have to go and buy a replacement for it, and that would drive the cost of the mods way up.

Cheap and easy and attractive? You aren't asking for much. lol It's like the old addage: "In choosing a mechanic, Fast; Cheap; Good. Pick any TWO!"

My interior ideas:

Easy and attractive: Woodgrain panels install in the dash in seconds and (IMHO) look great. They ain't cheap.

Easy and cheap: Spray paint your vinyl. Looks good...for about a week.

Cheap and attractive: Clean it! Not just ten quarters at the quick-e-wash. Take every piece of trim out and clean everything from the spedo bezel to the carpet UNDER the seats! Clean it to within an inch of it's life. What a job! (Cheap? Heck, you might even make a couple bucks when you take the shifter surround off.)

Cheap, easy and attractive? The only one I know, is to turn out the garage light and imagine how you'd like your car to look.
