A customer of mine wanted some mods done to his car
The project is coming along nicely
I thought I would share some photos of the
Smooth doors and the wide Qtr panels as they are created

I am not sure what you are asking
The panel in the photo is a fiberglass replacement that I am working on that has no molding or door handle

More info on those door panels! Sounds like *the* way to shave the moldings.

And what's that on the decklid?

The door skins are completely made from fiberglass
It it the only was I could shave the moldings and have a quality result
The deck lid has a mopar 6 pack molded into it
The scoops are from the fieroshop itl The vehicle owner purchased them and brought them with the car. I am making the back about 2 inches wider and I think I will leave the rest a secret for now
If you want you can stop in the shop to hear more or I will post more as I get further into the project

My chop top project is still under construction but since it is my car it keeps getting pushed to the back burner as more customer project come in

I have some good stuff coming outta the molds coming soon... fenders, sideskirts, sidescoops, F-bird fender vents, etc..

Here is the left side Qtr cut off

Here is the fiberglass "wide qtr panel that is going to be installed"

I made a mold of the wide side mockup them cut the side off
That way the car can have a real panel not a piece of foam and body filler

That looks really cool. But where's the filler door?

How did you make the mold for the fiberglass doors?

The hole for the fuel filler just needs to be cut

I built a jig to hold a factory door skin did the mods then made a mold of the modified part

You should drag the lines from the scoop halfway up the door. Looks too plain with it ending at the back of the door.

If they install the door and fender pieces it finishes at the front wheel.

Since the molding is removed from the car, what are you doing for marker lights?
I have been thinking of removing the molding, off of my Fiero. I just haven't figured out what to do about the lights.

Greatings from a fellow MN guy! - (I stopped buy with the yellow fastback this last year). That looks like a really neat build.

I'm glad to hear your business is doing well - good luck with it!
