need some help...
after much e-bay haggling, i got my decklid strip. unfortunatley, i think it only fits fastback decklids. my notchie has screw holes for speed clips to attach the strip. question:
1. are the strips different
2. does anyone have a strip for a notchback
3. possible trade for my "fastback" strip

lmk

Notchies are more oval. Fastbacks are more square. All I have is the one on the notchie and I kinda need it.

a Fastback decklid seal is rectangular and a great deal more valuable than a notchie version.

i thought maybe i was crazy, maybe i am.....
i am not referring to the trunk seal, but rather the water deflector sheild that goes in between the rear glass and front of the decklid....

yes, they should be, friend of mine gave me one, went on my notchback fine, and he put one on his fastback, which was from a notchback.. all the same, i think so.

The strip is held on with 5 clips, and each clip has a little prong that engages those holes you see in the flange on the edge of the decklid. No screws involved. And yes, the fastback and notchback decklid strips are the same.
