I have kind of a dumb question...where the heck are the horns located??? I would like to know if this car still has them on so I can make sure it passes inspection. I know there are 2...and a vague idea of where I thought they were...but I still don't see anything that looks like the picture in Chilton! Help, please!

Are you talking the actual horn, or the horn buttons?

The horns are more or less behind each turn signal lens. The horn relay is a square white plug in unit located under the right side of the dash next to the "blue dingy thingy", and if your dome lights work, your horn fuse is ok.

it always pays to know more than you need to

And AFAIK there isn't always two of them.

(not sure if it was a model, or an option thing - but I've run across too many cars with one to have it a fluke)

The horns are located inside the sides of the nose, you need to remove the lower covers from underneath to see them.

That's what I was thinking... have a friend stick his head under there, then HOOOOONKKKKK!!!!!

The stock on is kinda wimpy. I may want to plop one in that sounds more "meaty".

Not really... they're always up under the same place...
It's just that some have it under the one side, some have both sides. I still think it was an option like "deluxe horn" or something.

Find a place that sells the Fiamm Highway blaster. You'll only need one, trust me!
I have a single one on my Yamaha 1100 - makes me sound more like a Freightliner than a bike!!!

Hahaha! "Press on it and Honk!" Well, guess I need to back up a bit... Horn doesn't work. Trying to figure out why. I read in some thread that the horn relay is bad if you press on horn button and you don't hear a click. I didn't hear a click so I thought that was my problem. Well, then reading some more I found out if dome lights work then horn relay is good. Also, the guy at auto parts store said normally the old one will be discolored (this one was clear) and he didn't think it looked bad to him. Since the part was only $6 I thought what the heck, give it a shot. I haven't tried it yet, but I am still curious as to where the actual horns were so I can see if they are still there! haha Hmm...Freightliner Fiero... interesting! I'm sure those horns grab a person's attention alright!
