I have the Tan/Brown interior in my Fiero(the black one Yay I own 2 lol) and I asked Tim when I was buying Fiero #3 if it was rare. In his V8 Fiero he has the Tan/Brown too. He thinks that its either Rare or.........that people don't like the Tan/Brown so its not often seen and thrown out. So which is it?? Thanks

The tan/brown is a little more difficult to find for the 88. They call it beechwood. The 84-87 tan isn't as common as the grey. Most prefer grey because it compliments most colors and replacement parts are a little easier to find.

yeah, I've got the "Beechwood". It doesnt go with any other exterior color, except the "classic" red. When I re-paint (one day....), the only exterior colors I got to choose from are reds & greens.

It doesn't look bad in Black or White.

I've got an 85GT that has the tan and brown interior. It also has the suede and sheepskin seats...
I kind of like it...most of the Fieros I've seen, and all of them that I've owned, have had a grey interior. I will admit...it will make it harder finding replacement parts for the interior, but I don't think it will be THAT hard. A bit rarer than the grey...yes. But rare? I dunno....
Wait whats the difference between "Beechwood" in 88' and the 84-87 "Tan/Brown" interior??? Or is it just the same in 88' with a different name, or is it truly a different color?? And also on the help bout the "rarity" issue, I appreciate it guys!

You need to specify whether you have cloth or leather seats. The Beechwood ('88 color name) (alias Med Doeskin, Light Saddle) is a cloth interior.
Per Mark Corbin's FSG...
...The tan/brown, if tan fleece and brown suede, was (edited) "optional" in the '84 SE. They made 65,670 '84 SE's... edited: ...additionally, the tan fleece and brown suede, was "optional" in the '85 SE. They made 24,734 '85 SE's...
I stand corrected, I misread the FSG... Thanks for the correction hyperv6.

Now on the other hand the wool seats were not standard on SE's and are very rare. Even back when I was shopping for a Fiero in 84/84 you could not find many wool seat cars. today they are more rare as they did not take the wear and tear as well as the standard seats.

Ive had my saddle/tan 85GT for 7 years. Most car shows ive attended always seem to have grey (of which there are 2 shades dark/light) and tan (with no saddle). Then there are the Beachwood 88's. I feel as if the two tone saddle/tan might not be "rare" but wait a few more years and see whats happens............
Seems like every day there's another Fiero getting stuck in a bone yard (God please let me win the lottery so I can save them all)

After all that I've seen posted on this so far, I'm glad I'm using grey. I had a hard time finding some beechwood interior parts for a GT I was thinking of fixing. There are a lot of good color combinations for the brown interior, but grey seems to be neutral enough to go with everything. It comes down to owner preference. The tan isn't rare, but not as common as grey. The beechwood is limited... especially when it's for a GT. 88 GT's aren't parted out as often as other years.
I have a black 86 SE with saddle interior and gold accent hi-tech wheels. It's all factory original. I have never seen another one like it. I have seen many blac/tan 86 SE's, but they always have the black accent wheels.

I'll tell you whats rare. I had an '86 GT red/w silver and tan interior. The seats where soft cloth on the back, leather bolsters with suede back and seat bottom. Ive only seen 1 other Fiero with these seats and a pair on ebay. Supposedly it was an option that most people did not get when the purchased their Fiero because of the cost. Anyone have any pics of seats like this? I think I saw a grey set on Mr. Mikes website once.
