Let me first start out by saying that I am just shy of 18 years of age. When I was 15, it became painfully aware to me that I would need a car the following year. And as every 15 year old kid would do, I spent hours upon hours on the internet researching the fastest, most attractive and cheapest car that could possibly attained. Well naturally, I stumbled upon the kit car world, namely via KitCars.com, you know, the magazine? Well anyway, I started seeing that basically every kit was based upon the Pontiac Fiero chassis. Myself being born in 1987, I never had seen or heard of one of these cars before. I then decided to find out what this little mid-engined wonder was, and let me tell you, I was amazed at what I saw. I absolutely fell in love with the 1986 - 1988 GT models, and convinced myself I'd have one no matter what. Well 2 years later, I've been driving a 2000 Chevy Prizm for a year, and have been searchign for a Fiero GT. Well last summer I finally found one, and what a find it was. A champaigne 1986 4-speed GT, 2.8L obviously, and had every single option available for the year, save performance sound. The kicker is 66,793 original miles! Beautiful find, and I just had to have it. I finally got the keys after an exchange of $3,000 2 years of searching, and 8 months of waiting (the car disappeared in the fall, and I just found it again). Honestly, I can't wait to get it home, and I'm super pumped to get it on the road. Let me know what you think, and I shall be spending much time here...
Edited for spelling...

You mean gold. I'm just giving ya a hard time man, welcome to the Fiero world. The car looks really clean. I see that it has the beachwood interior too. Never been too fond of that color, but I think that it looks really nice on a gold GT. -Will

Sounds similar to my story. Everyday I look at my Fiero and wander "How in the hell do have this car?" I was forced to save up my own money to buy my own car, which is why I didn't own one until recently (I'm also 17). I'm so thankful that discovered the Fiero, because otherwise I would have spent my money on a less exciting car, less eye-catching car, and a car with more mileage, like an early 90's Sentra or something .

Words of wisdom... Its a Map Pocket not a "Glovebox" We simple Fieroillians do not believe in these things you call "Gloveboxes" since we do not carry gloves.
Unless of course you are rich and order an aftermarket "Glovebox" for your fancy "Handwarmers". I don't get out much lol Have fun with your sweet clean ride!
Yes, nice color combo. I think you got a pretty good deal out of that. Here's my old 86 GT.
PS, A little more originality on the name might get your posts noticed more. Something to consider while you still have that low post count. Welcome to the forum!
