I don't think it was a waste of bandwidth - not like some of those truly bandwidth-wasting threads in TO/T that go on for 40+ pages... I think Fiero Finale meant good so don't give him any negatives over this.
In fact, I think it's pretty funny that some of you here that complain about wasting bandwidth have posted in the "Paranoid" thread in TO/T. Now that's a true bandwidth-waster.
This thread: 120KB (and Fiero related). The "Paranoid" thread: 5.1MB (and complete and utter wasteless drivel).

I don't think this was diserving of a negative at all..
It would have gone over much better if the intent was stated up front and it requested people who wanted to join in to only post favorites as demonstrated by the threadstarter..
I had no problems with it till the 20 posts about how he was expecting imature people to post, people saying stuff like that always crack me up because they should know that its an invitation
I came to this link from another link posted in OT section. I am glad I did being that it has alot of Threads I have never seen and I am on here all the time. I will save it to my favorires as a referance to many of the threads that are posted in it. It cant be a waste of Bandwitdth if he wanted to post it.

Yes, but it is fun! We've had a lot of fun with that thread. Isn't that what T/OT is about? Is there any way I could donate bandwidth to keep it alive, or, tell me how much it will cost to keep it going. I'll pay it if need be. I need to do a donation auction anyways. I've got something good this time.
I don't see anything wrong with this thread. Most of the threads he has put as a favorite are popular threads that keep showing up, but here you can see them with an informative thumbnail and figure out what they are really about since some of the titles are vague.
You'll still get a negative from me becuase I don't see my finale build in your favorites!

Heard about it here Cliff, I am a simpleton. I have asked before and never really recieved an explaination about bandwidth. I asked because bandwidth has often been mentioned. I have enjoyed the paranoid thread, yet, I am able to banter with the family in every thread. I think a more detailed explaination of bandwidth will help us all. My mind allows me to think that every letter one types uses bandwidth. I am missing how it affects bandwidth in one thread verses another. The "paranoid" thread I suppose is as wasteful as the "word association" thread. I believe I speak for all who have posted that we meant no harm or waste of resources.
On previewing my reply, I think I got a clue. And a solution. I am sure no one will object if you delete the first 40 pages of "paranoid". They are not being referenced. I would like to see it go on. It has been like a "general chat" in T/OT. A miscellanious topic that has been popular.
EDIT I can see the waste that four or five....or more posts in a row just to get the next page is.

I was having fun with the paranoid thread too,but when I posted this thread in O/T I was immeadatly slapped around...Oh well I can see where Cliff is coming from, but I was kinda shocked at how much he seems to "hate" the paranoid thread....I felt bad for contributing a zillion posts to it.....

I'm glad I have Cliff's support, but before I continue to add or edit more posts of mine on the first page I want to get a reasonable thumbs up?? Or thumbs down?? Like I said, my intent was to help everyone, but everyone has an opinion I respect that. So yeah.....i'm sorry for everyone I made mad and upset.

I Give it Two Thumbs up Fiero Finale. I think it would be a great thread to have for anyone that is looking for some good solid info.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the "Paranoid" thread. Do I think it's a complete waste of bandwidth? Absolutely. But I don't hate it or I would have removed it a long time ago. I just used it as an example because some people seem to hand out negatives because they believe this thread is wasting bandwidth, while the same people keep a thread like "Paranoid" alive.
Back to this thread. I believe Fiero Finale's intentions are good, but I don't think it will work in its current form. I like the idea however of having a "general" favorites thread or somthing. A thread with links to other popular threads. But it must be setup by all and not by one.

I believe that would be the FAQ or 'sticky topics' that everyone mentions now and again. I don't know how you'd get concensus on the most useful. You may have the accurate stats on that.
NEGATIVES? Well, I'm usually too lazy to push the rate this member link. Besides, I think FF is rather amusing.

I agree - I think we should let him start a new one for all to use that is a sticky up top - and the only posts in it are favorites, no banter
once all his favorites are copied over this one can get trash canned, cuz its all Fiero5's fault

I like the thread.
However, I think it could turn into a mess if everyone started his own thread like this one.

Yeah that is a good point. But I was just hoping to add so many good favorites that it would be pointless for some else to make another one.
Kohburn, yeah I thought about making a new one, but without any picture previews and ALL the favorites in the first post(I could go back and edit them later) but with a better discription.
I kinda put a hault on this, so that favorites that were listed wasn't in any order and ones that didn't make it was cause it wasn't completed so yeah.
Also thanks to anyone who thought this was a good, and to everyone who gave me a negative, I can see why you did at first cause at the time you guys posted there was nothing up so I can see your guys point but I hope that has changed now. Either way sorry & thanks.
