Yesterday in the Twin Cities was sunny and a balmy 32 degrees. Turned out to be a great day for working on Fieros also. First off, spent the morning at Tim's house (FieroSTS) working on the naked Fiero for the club World of Wheels Display. He has got a great setup with a heated garage and all. I pretty much ended up cleaning and waxing the whole front end frame work and spare tub area. Tim intends to drive it to shows this year when weather permits. Ended up with another fantastic lunch thanks to his wife Jean.

Well the cleaning bug struck so when I got home I took the daughter's Formula to the car wash. Dang near popped the sun roof it was so nice. Cleaned up real nice. Felt good to be drivng a Fiero again. Great fix, though temporay.

Finally, started up the Stinger and turned it around in the driveway. I wanted to do some re-arranging in the garage. I got some real interesting stares by people driving by. Finished the major tear down on the body damage. I had a couple of rusted bolts on the door sill which I finally convinced to come off thanks to Yield bolt loosener. I had all the garage doors up with the sun shining in. It made laying on the cold concrete floor tolerable. The car is so low that a creeper is useless. I have been taking digital pictures of the work so I will post some when I figure out how to download onto the computer and then onto Pennocks. Finished the day putting in a pair Pioneer TS-A4103 speakers. I can't believe they bolt right up using the existing holes. Sound really great.
Later.....Jeff

Glad to hear you had a great day. It wasn't sunny here because we are in the middle of getting another eight inches of snow so it did make for a good day to work in the garage.Marg and I are almost finished the finale sand on the primer and then bolt it together for the paint.
see you soon

Yeah...................might be temporary outside, but I'm getting a lot done in my insulated, radiant heated garage at home
If I can raise enough money I can get these headers fixed & coated. The car cleaned up & maybe still make it to the World of Wheels............that is if this new job I'm trying to get doesn't ship me off to Chicago for 14 weeks

Now THAT would be a sight - seeing a "naked Fiero" on the street. It would definitely be interesting to see how far he'd get, but with proper insurance/license and all the car's safety equipment in place (horn, lights etc.) - could he be ticketed for anything? Even if there isn't something in "the book", I'm sure a zealous cop could still find something.
