Well my Edelbrock performer RPM air gap manifold came today. It has been on back order for like a month and a half, and i've been chomping at the bit to get my grubby mits on it . I got the permastar coated intake and when i opened the box WOW.



It's so shiny it's sick! It seems to have spots were its black but its just so darn bright! Definantly worth the price of admission. Permastar rocks!

Yeah that permastar finish looks much better in person than it does in pictures. Its almost like a very glossy, smooth, shiny, slightly tinted chrome.

Its going on a 327 SBC, I'll post build up pics when the motor is done. This is a superslow motion buildup so a build up thread would probably get archived before i get it done , but i'm taking plenty of pics. I'll definantly have to mod the rear decklid to clear everything. I just hope Edelbrock comes out with some perma star coated valve covers to match.
