What RPM are you running at 60mph in 5th.

New transmission and it seems like I am running a high rpm for the speed. I thought all final drives were the same though.

Thanks much

David

your speedometer will "read" the same no matter what diameter wheels you have installed (unless you have your speedometer recalibrated). With bigger wheels your actual speed will be higher than the indicated speed. So if you get pulled over for doing 60 in a 55mph zone and your speedometer said 55, your bigger tires make up that 5mph differance. Same goes with installing smaller diameter tires just vice versa.
So be carefull.

technically, its the tire size, not the wheel size that affects speedo accuracy. Dont matter if its 14, 16 or 20 inch wheels.

5th gear...............whats that...............lol

that is kinda misleading. It's the dia. size of the tire that you would take into consideration. I think that 20" wheels are bigger than the 14"wheel combos that some are running. LOL

still plays with cars..
