Its that time of the month for the meeting..
Thanksgiving is next week, so we are having the meeting this Saturday celebrating our thanks for 2004 with a lunch meal at Papa’s BBQ on NorthWest Hwy in Dallas.
Time is 1030am to about 200pm…..
James has indicated he wants to hold nomination and I guess election for President 2005. James has served NTFC well for 2004, lets show our membership support by coming to this meeting to discuss what we can do to make 2005 better.
The main announcement at the meeting in case you are not going to be there is the Christmas party. I have book the Texas Land and Cattle at the same location we have it every year. One year we had 30 people show up for the Christmas party. Please plan to bring a car related gift in the $25 range for the exchange of the presents. I am sure we will have some fun in the exchange of gifts somehow as we always do.
Mail List ? Finally I have the NTFC mail list going together. This email is done with the email address in the to: section so I can extract the email address easier. I don't like to send emails this way, but it should be the last time to even use email. The mailing list is provided as a means to communicate meetings, items for sale related to Fieros, and general chat. The procedure for getting on the mail is : Send an email to NTFC@FastFieros.com .. Put Subscribe in the BODY of the message. Don't put subscribe in the subject line or it will bounce. If you are getting this email today, I will have you in the mail list by the next email you get. However, if you want an additional email added, you must send the subscribe to the NTFC@FastFieros.com address.
Website ? OK, you have heard for 10 months now the website will change. I am still working on it.. Please feel free to be creative and send me some HTML pages already to put on the server for the website. I had a PHP site done, but I didn't like the modules that were available at the time.
CFOGi ? We will welcome Blake Moore as the new Region 6 Director. I will be a deputy director to Blake, and I believe Chuck Hodges will remain a deputy to Blake as well.
We want to thank Amber for at least trying to get the NTFC members together last weekend for the car show in Ceder Hill. The rain was a killer on the show, but a couple of us still tried to be there. Keep us informed Amber for the next one.
I hope to see our long term members there at this meeting ….. Joe , Pat, Steve, John, JJ, Landon, and others that have not been coming ??????
