Ouch. I've invited people to show up at the Baja who aren't on interent, and I have no way of contacting them. Do you think the Baja Cantina staff will send anyone who shows up looking for us down to the Running Iron? I completely understand your logic. Too bad the Baja couldn't, they're going to lose a few hundered bucks in business and tips.
Here's a concern, though. You know how Google puts ads related to a web pages content down at the bottom of the page? Here's the Google ads I found on a review of the Running Iron...
Ads by Google Dog digestive problems Does your dog eat his own stool? Does he have bad gas? Need help? www.dinovite.com Deter Coprophagia Tablets Helps stop dogs from eating feces Easy and safe way to stop problem www.doctordog.com Alpar Forbid We have this anti-coprophagic for immediate shipment. www.arcatapet.com
Hmmm. I think I'll pass on the Poo-poo Platter.

What time did you tell them to show up, Stimpy? Baja doesn't even open till 11AM. I expect us to get into town about 10:30 if everything goes as last year. Maybe we could have someone run down to Baja to collect anyone who doesn't know. I kinda doubt Baja would send anyone our way. They are probably not too happy on losing the business even though it is their fault that they did...
Here is a web page on the Running Iron. http://www.carmelvalleycalifornia.com/running.html I'll have to say thankfully that I didn't get those links on my search for Running Iron. All I got was a link to "How to start a restaurant".
BTW - Did you get a chance to go check out that place I mentioned to you?

I'll have next Thursday and Friday off, so I can at least provide moral support and parts running capability in the quest to get Steven running!
Here's a link to my house. Best bet is to take 156 through Castroville to 101.
Really? If I ever go to Salinas, I take San Miguel Canyon out to 101 and go south from there. No matter.
Hey Bear - I bumped his thread in Tech. I'm guessing its a computer problem. Pokey offered him an ECM for it before and if pokey still has it and Steven still wants it, I'll bring it back with me this weekend.

Whatever gets you to 101, I guess. Where is San Miguel Canyon?
Prundale, or just north of it. Nice twisty road that ends south of Watsonville. Then you take another road back to 1 and you come out right where 1 goes from 4 lanes to 2 lanes, just south of Watsonville.

For anyone who didn't read my other thread, I have narrowed the problem down to the computer. I was going to get the one pokey had/has but my dad convinced himself to pay for half of a new one since he doesn't want me driving HIS cars to school/work so I'm going to pick up a new computer tomorrow morning.
By the way, anyone know where to get glass beads for beadblasting between Salinas and S.F. bay? I know where to order online... However, I need some soon and would rather not pay outrageous shipping for dozens of pounds of blasting media.

Ask Toddster. He's got a sand blasting cabinet at his place.
