Hello, I was was just doing the normal cruising of the net, and BLAM! it hit me.... http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLine/Products/NOS/NOSNS/NOSzle.html It looks so genius. Has anybody had the experience of this kit? ecspecially on the fiero, doesn't look like there would be enough room under the intake.
Thats got to efect the fuel flow from the injector. You cant just put a nozel on an injector like that and not have some kind of efect on fuel flow/automization.
Hey Punisher, what's that picture of the Movie F&F got to do with anything??
I hope that you're not trying to suggest that using nitrous oxide is as silly as jumping from a moving car, or are you trying to link every nitrous oxide user to the movie Fast and furious?
I know that you have a lot of good information, but you seem so damned self righteous all the time.
The F&TF is a great reference source for nawz use. Thats why I mention it in every nawz thread.
Anything and everything you need to know about how to use nawz you can learn by watching this movie. Its that simple really. How do you think I became such an expert at it?
Oh yea oslo, how is your nitrous install coming on your 2.8?

First of all, my nitrous oxide install on my 2.8 went just fine. Thanks for asking. I've successfully ran a 50hp shot with it twice, and have been busy with other things to experiment with it much. It's not a big deal. Quite simple.
No, fast and the furious is NOT a good instructional film on how to use and/or install a nitrous system. It's NOT called Nawz. Just because you watch F&TF so much doesn't mean that you have to throw random pics of it on the forum. If you like it that much, make it a sig pic. lol
Seriously, are you just trying to be dumb? Or funny? Or annoying? Or sincerely trying to help? I think your point would be a little better taken on if you stated you original intent, because you seem a bit ostentatiously sarcastic in most of your posts.
i think he is referring to the constant and irritating use of "naws". i agree. however, the use of nitrous oxide systems does not give you the right to say "i have naws on my car" rather please utter the phrase "i have nitrous on my car" or maybe "she is on the bottle". or just straight lie and say "she is bone stock"

Think what you want. But F&TF is the greatest movie ever documenting th real life use of teh nawz. I dotn' see it as a movie. I see it as an instructional video to go faster with nawz. I mean they tell you everythign you nee dto know to be a successful streetracer.
Lesson 1: You NEED two big bottles if you expect to win ANYTHING! Lesson 2: You NEED a intake manifold warning gauge to let you know if you are going to blow your intake welds. Lesson 3: You CAN'T use your nitrous too soon of the race or you will get passed at the end. Jessie learned this the hard way and of course as you know he paid for it with his life. So you will not catch me ever using nitrous too soon in a race cause I dont' want to die.
So for me?
Lesson 1: check Lesson 2: check Lesson 3: check
I follow all these to a "T" Its def paid off.

SH- I know what you are getting at... But why attack every topic about nitrous with such off the wall sarcasm?
Sure it's everywhere nowadays. The F&TF attitude... Sure, I could see the need for laughable criticism if he would've come on here saying:
"Hey dudes! I needz to go faster in my 2.5! My buddy has a 1568hp import 4 cyl and he says I should hit it with some NOS! What do I need to know?!!!"
But he didn't. There's a difference from being a dumb$hit about it, and actually considering using Nitrous Oxide the right way. You just come off as the bad guy when you discourage it without cause.
there seems to be a NOS question weekly, and never an actual direct answer - just some pointing to go look here or go look there. I think what this means is there are no direct answers. NOS has alot of potential - to go fast - or to blow motor. no one wants to recommend a system to someone, and then they blow up their motor the next night with it. but them 3 rules from above is a fine start - the only actual answer in this thread....

I have seen them, never used it they ain't cheap. First thing is since you are injecting nitrous and fuel at each cylinder, the jets would be small and you would have to be carefull not to get ANY debris in the jet. Second the housing would raise the injector higher into the fuel rail, so you could either machine the manifold or use a spacer under the fuel rail. That would throw fuel supply and return lines off a little from the connection on the fuel rail. Plumbing each nitrous/fuel port would take a while. I guess that unless you are going above 125hp why spend the money? I think NX sells a similar setup? ...........Paul
Shaun Jokes with you all , but he is probably the only one who has tried a nozzle kit on his car and can tell you it Won't work... I saw the pics for myself. It is a good idea , but won't work easily with the fiero intake setup

Just was looking at some things on the internet. Never did I say "Hey I want this on my car because I think a stock engine running a 40000000 HP amount of "NAWZ" would make me cool, then I want to buy an over sized spoiler, and buy a chrome fire exstinguisher." Nitrous is a very great idea, even if hollywood killed it. It still is a relatively cheap way of more HP, and you don't have to have it on all the time. I said "NOS" because... wo, it's actually made by Nitrous Oxide Systems, the name of the company. I like to ask questions about things I have not yet experienced myself because I am very interested in engine performance and I enjoy quenching my thrist for knowledge.

You forgot Lesson 4: You NEED to install a safety floor panel blow out system in case you use too much Nawz.
