Can anyone verify what year Camaro seats will fit into a Fiero? I have a set of leather buckets out of a 95 Camaro on hold at a local salvage yard that I can put in if they will fit. I'm sure I'll have to re-use the seat tracks from the Fiero. Just looking for a little verification. Thanks

Well, if it helps, I know 4th gen and 3rd gen camaro seats are basicly interchangable. An '02 seat should fit in a '82 and vise versa. I was going to put leather 4th gen camaro seats into my '84, but then I got the Fiero

i used firebird seats, camaro seats will fit just swap the seat tracks wit hthe fiero seats and it will bolt right in. You lose your headrest speakers if you got em but hey you can figure out something else to do with stereo if its something you want badly.

Emailing them is the same amount of work really, as you still need to upload the pics. Go to www.imageshack.us and upload the pics once, post the link they give you into the forum, and you're done. I too want to see the pics!

Has anyone ever noticed the seats in an 88-90 GTA trans am? They look like the same seats that found there way into the 2+2 concept fiero. Friend has them in his GTA and he says they are comfotable on long drives.

For those of you that have asked, I have emailed the pics to Jason, hopefully he will be able to post them. The installation was easy enough, just unbolt the tracks and switch them out. They look pretty good and seem to sit well, but I guess I'll know more after putting a few miles in them. Beats the heck out of spending $650 on new leather for recovering the old fiero seats. I know, I'm tight. The match could have been closer in color, but for salvage yard seats, I think they look great. Thanks for all the advice.
Editted to thanks Gene (Scrabblegod) for his assistance. Thanks Gene. ------------------ Ron aka: Blackrams

Actually, there hasn't been too much difference in the feel, expect for the leather feel. I guess the test will be when I go autocrossing. I don't think there is quite as much bolster in the Camaro seat as the stock Fiero seats, (restricting side to side movement during hard corning), but I really can't feel much difference in the seats, except for the leather that is. I'm just happy that I don't have to look at the old rips, tears and worn out spots on the old Fiero seats. (And it didn't cost me $650 to get the new look and feel). Thanks for reading and replying to this post.

One last note, after driving a couple of days with these seats, I believe that I will shim the front two legs to raise the front of the seat a small amount, this may just be to satisfy my own desires, but I don't believe the Camaro seats are as firm or tall on the front edge, I prefer a little more slope front to rear than I have. Anyone considering this can save themselves some effort by trying it out prior to actually tightening the four floorpan bolts. Thanks for all the help.
I've actually got a set of '97 Firebird seats (same mounting, different pattern).
I didn't have to do any modifications to the Firebird rails on the driver's side, but had to elongate the passenger-side holes a touch - and grind off part of the mounting flange (excess material). The Firebird rails raise the seat about 1-2 inches depending on your driving position. My driver's seat has a rock/tilt feature, so I've stayed with the F-body rails - but the passenger side might get switched to Fiero rails and I too would raise the front edge. I had them side-by-side in my living room for awhile and you could see this "slope" that you mentioned.
Oh yeah - I also removed the seatbelt loops from the headrests and had them filled by an interior repair guy (about $45).
