Got the new brakes on and fixed the bent clutch pedal. Tomorrow, I'll see if she'll shift properly, and perhaps take her for a maiden spin. Now I just need to get the new exhaust on, do safety and e-test, and I'm rolling.

I noticed you made a post about neededing an exhaust?? my buddy has a aftermarket gt muffler. I believe that it is a cat back so it will work on the 4banger. Be nice with the duals and gives the duke a little more of a rumble lmk

Just wanted to let everyone know that this cruise will be rain or shine just like rest of them. Thankfully we have never had a rainy cruise yet. But because people will be traveling a distance to get here, the weather could be very different from each location. So it will go on either way. If it does rain, we plan to cruise and go out to a restaurant for some chat time. So the meet time again is 2:00pm.
Doh lets hope your customs agents decide to get back on the job soon. As of right now (Canadian Customs agents walked off the job today) the traffic trying to enter Canada across the Blue Water bridge is backed up to Mt. Clemens on I94 (Approx 28 Miles) and to Imlay City on I69 (about 20 miles)

Looks like I am not going to have the car ready then. I was supposed to pick up an exhaust sytem on Wednesday night, but things just didn't work out in my favour. :{ .... There's always next year.
Anyhow, we'll be stopping though with the van, just to see everyone and their respective cars.
See you all there.

It will be a great day anyways, If it rains the track will be closed but we will still do some cruising and hanging out untill whenever.
Saber49, tonight (friday) we will do some tuning of your car on the 730 ecm, because right now by doctors orders your car is banned from a drag strip. it is putting up a fight with the ecm and tranny transplant, but I will win
See yous all tomarrow at 2 or PM us for a cell # if you are coming late and want to meet up with us where ever we are, because the day will not be cancelled, bring umbrella's, chairs and of coarse just in case 104 octane racing fuel

The track is open only if the track itself isn't wet. We usually call ahead to the track and find out the conditions before we go. If it rains, we'll still do the cruise but end up at a resturant instead. If you can't produce a timeslip due to rain, there isn't any shame in that.
Hey everyone. I'm incapacitated with a severe case of sciatic nerve. I am in constant pain, where I cannot work in the garage. So, that means I will not be joining you for the last cruise. I know I'll feel worse when I see the pics. I have not seen the garage since last Saturday. I spent most of my up-time in front of the PC. That's one less car you have to baby sit. My loss. Have fun ppl. Oscar.

Sorry to hear about this Oscar. You and your wife will be missed along with everyone else who can't make it tomorrow. Hope you get better soon.
Just fixed my oil pressure problem tonight! Finally!! LOTS of metal shavings but oil pressure continues to run strong.
Is it possible anyone can bring a spare alternator bracket that they can sell me? I was tightening my belt tonight and the adjuster cracked. The car seems to run fine even though its cracked..but I don't want to keep it that way for long.
Thanks guys, cya'll tomorrow.. hopefully

Hi Becky, I found these details in the previous cruise post, Is this the same place?
QUOTE - "Ok let's do a run down of where we are meeting for those who are new:
Take the 401 / 402 whichever you are on to the Colonel Talbot Rd. exit. Go north You will enter into Lambeth. Once in Lambeth go through the lights at Main St (only set in Lambeth that way) Turn at the first right after the light which is Beatie St. Continue up Beatie until you get to the second stop sign. At second stop sign go left and continue until you come to a left curve in the road. The park is straight through. The park and a church somewhat share the same parking lot. This is the meeting place."
I know that others have be given different directions by us in the past but it's all the same. I find these are easier for those who are coming from the 401. This way people can grab a Timmies before the cruise. If anyone has further questions the day of, feel free to call our cell 519-857-2864.
UNQUOTE
Thanks, MrRED86SE

If anyone is heading out from Toronto, Please post a meeting place and we'll try and get together for the ride to London. I usually go no more then 110Km/h (stock - 4 speed) if it's O.K by you, let's go!

Mister, yes those are correct directions to the meeting place. As mentioned that is one of two sets of directions. You can see the alternate directions drawn out on the map, but also the streets you just mentioned are on this map just not traced out.

Car's running, Has an upgraded Feul pump. The Nitrous just needs to be wired and the Wot Switch Mounted. Only thing I expect to give me an issue is wot switch placement. I expect I'll be able to spray tonight. If I can I'm gonna work my way up starting at 50 then 75 Shot then 100 and maybe 125.

Sorry to hear you are not 100% Oscar. It was a pleasure chatting with you at the last cruise. I am in Denver, CO on business at the moment, so I don't think this cruise is on my to do list. Hope the weather holds out for all.

Won't be able to make it today. UI is on stike so I have no funds right now. Happened at the worst time too, trade school is almost done and my UI ran out 1 week befre the strike, had to re-apply then they do this! Gives me a chance though to help out my brother and try to find him a car. Wrote his sunbird off when her re-ended a Mercedez, went right under the car. Teach him not to tailgate anymore!

Thanks everyone. Jan (wife) was looking forward to this more than I was. She even suggested to come out with the van and I felt it would not help my back if I walk around to see the latest mods. Speaking of mods, I wanted to see Pete's latest swap in person, which requires bending over and under, in and out, back and forth, anyway you get the message, that would paralize me for sure. Chris - I hope you will do a thread on that grd fx repair. I would'nt know where to start. Like I said before I'm an idiot when it comes to body work. Have fun and see you all in the pics. Oscar.

Well due to the weather the track was closed the only times we could post is how fast we all went down the chinese buffet tables. I would say saber49 and linenoise were neck and neck.
