I took aero rockers off of an 87 fastback... Im not sure if they're attached the same or not...

But the ones I removed has 10-12 plastice and a few metal rivits that I had to drill out..

Hopefully this is of some help...

There are rivets (or bolts if someone else changed it) under the car along the bottom of the rocker. Also some rivets under the trim panels. These are the small rectangles of plastic on the top of the panel visible with the door open.

The front and rear fender liners may still have a screw and there's a rivet at the bottom rear of the front fender .

There are clips at the back where it meets the quarter panel and one at the front fender. These just push in with a tang to catch it. use a large flat screwdriver to insert in the slot and release the tang.

Sounds more involved than it is.
