Of course, soon after I sell my last Fiero, my favorite junkyards finally get in some interesting Fieros.
Don't have much detail, just reporting what my buddy reported (he wanted to grab a FB but his daughter likes the notchie better, and the car is for her...she wins). Figured that y'all might be interested.
His report was:
All three are in pretty good shape as far as being complete (so far). All had taillights, some in very good condition with no de-lamination. Decklids were complete with spoilers. One was an Automatic...dont remember others. Interiors were Grey, complete & in fair to good condition. Some wheels were removed but may be laying about. Didn't pop any decklids to check on drivetrain. One had been hit on driver's side rear wheel but body is good.
He said that he thought one might be an 88...but not sure....
I don't have any further information on the cars & probably won't be heading out there myself for a couple of months so you'll just have to go & find out for yourselves. I know that there is at least one member (can't remember his name) in the area who might be able to find out more (after he get's his dibs in
)
Anyways... they are located in 2 yards that sit next to each other:
Petry's Junk Yard, Inc - 800 Gorsuch Road, Westminster, MD - has 2 GTs
Schliffletts Used Auto Parts - 724 Gorsuch Road, Westminster, MD - has 1 GT....maybe an 88
Don't go dragging parts between the two yards! Mr. Schlifflett is a nice guy but does not appreciate parts from Petry's 'crossing' the line.
Also - MD sucks for buying complete cars from the yards... Won't even think about it in many cases but may if you're willing to cut out the VIN plate.
Hope this helps y'all & hope I haven't disclosed someone's 'secret' stash.
