Those look GREAT! Had I had known I would have showed up!! Great looking car!!!
Well, there is growing interest in my pacing again at this track and/or the one in Canaan NH since this one went well. Even with the death of the guy being hit early on during warm ups: http://www.theunionleader.com/articles_showa.html?article=41996 it still was a special nite as I was able to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Fiero and that the Fiero paced the 500 20 years ago by pacing the races that night with mine. I am also pursuing what i will agree is a long shot of pacing a race at Loudens New Hampshire International Speedway, but even though that may not happen the others are very good possibilities so you and others may get a second chance to come and see it in person.

I need to e-mail some pics to a newspaper to go with an article they are doing about this. Since all the ones I have from that night are all dark they said they need some taken during the day, even just sitting in a driveway would be ok, so I have these- Which one(s) do you think: 1) 2) 3) 4)

Thanks everyone for the compliments. I was just told by one of the reporters who called me back and said the news company he works for has more than one newspaper, and that two seperate articles will come out on my pacing the races Aug 6th in the two papers. One tomorrow (Wed) and the other one this Friday. This is the news reporter that interviewed me that night at the races. My family and I will be looking for those papers when they come out, especially tomorrow morning
Once I get a copy I will see how well I scan the article and post it here.
No, not yet. I have sent him a bunch of e-mails and left phone messages at the station for him but I haven't been able to talk to him yet and see whats up with it. He is at a TV station near Bellows Falls VT. He "said" he was going to give us both a DVD and a VHS copy of all the footage he shot. All I have to do now is just get my hands on it

Allright!! After posting that reply above I decided even though it was late to try again and reach him at the station. I just got off the phone with him. His name is Stan. He is the gentleman from the TV station that took all the great footage all night of the races that I paced including footage from out my Indy's sunroof of all the race cars behind me. He said we will be more than pleased and blown away with how great it all came out. When asked about the shots out the sunroof he said it came out awesome!! We are going to meet him hopefully Thursday after dinner at the station in Bellows Falls and pick up the copies. Now I really can't wait to see it

yeah it was a blast. The pic they chose for the paper was not one of the better ones they took I thought, as they took a LOT and some were at very cool angles but it's pretty cool either way. I am trying to see if I can get some of the bigger newsmedia to maybe pick up the story. It is the 20th anniversary of the Fiero this year afterall
I wil try and get some quicktime footage made for someone to host so you can see the camera guys footage from out the sunroof. It is AWESOME!!
I also have some great fgootage of just me alone on the track with the Indy doing some laps around the track for the newsmedia I will also try and get some quicktime footage posted of as well.
Anyone interested in a copy of the night on VHS, DV or DVD for just the cost of the media and shipping?

OK, the first quicktime clip I have ready is from 8-23 when we met the news photographer at the track to get some shots for one of the articles that I just posted above. It is a nice viewing size but is also a large file because of it. It is a 16MB file. Anyone who would like to host this please make sure your email can handle receiving a file this large
I will work on making a quicktime clip from the TV cameramans footage from out of the sunroof later today
