OK - here's what I did.

First I took the old line out - in pieces (very difficult otherwise and I assume you don't need it anyway).
I measured the total length of the line (in pieces).
I cut the ends off - about 2" from each end (leave fittings on there).
I took them to a big rig repair shop / parts store here in Calgary. These guys have all sorts of steel braided lines. I imagine it would be the same anywhere else.
I asked them to install the fittings on a similar diameter steel braided line, compatible with brake fluid and gave them the length.
It took about 45 minutes and $85 CDN to get it done.
Installation is a breeze because you don't have to worry about breaking the line.

The first one I put in was tubing, taken out of another Fiero. After wrestling with it at the junkyard for 1 hour and then at home for another hour, I broke it. DOH! The tubing is VERY hard to install. The steel braided is easy and looks very good when done.

or you can go down to the local autoparts store and get the steel lines in sections of 1,2,3,4' in length with fittings
i did this once and it worked great - just not as pretty as one peice lines
