Mr. Pennock Gorgeous site ya have here, can't thank ya enough for hosting it man... saved me a few times already....

I do have a suggestion tho and I wonder if anyone else thinks like I do... (this may very well have been suggested before... who knows, I'm still kinda new.. my apologies if it has)....

but as I stalk through the threads looking for usefull info on my V6... I keep running into a ton of 3800, and 4.9 and SBC threads.... and that is awesome... I get lost in those threads reading for hours about all the cool stuff people are doing....

but I think maybe if we had seperated forums for the Iron Duke, the V6 and Engine Swaps time could be used more efficiently to help find answers to your specific problems...

Because, altho I love getting lost in the aftermarket threads, more times than not I get lost while trying to find an answer to a problem I'm having.... then... time goes past.... it gets late and I put it off till the next day... I'm guessing I'm not the only one who's done this....

Soooo... by having the engine setup forums seperated people could more easily find the info they need, and still have the option of perusing and getting lost in the threads about other engines at their leisure...

just a thought

Been suggested a bunch, and the general concensus is that it will make everything too complicated. People will have trouble deciding what to post where, and you won't get as much help because people will ignore certain sections they're not interested in.

And even if there was a specific spot, you still have to deal with the "search" right?
with people starting there threads with, "I'm pissed, I need a V8" .........your search can be rather lenghty at best.

Even I'm guitly for several threads wtih Un-usual headings, "Fiero Redux", "Who wants Decah", "Danger Will Robenson..VDC implosion" and "I don't want to blow my horn, but please make it stop."
